If you are a spouse, friend, or relative of a person who survived sexual abuse or/and rape, probably someone with whom you are close has revealed to you what had happened to them. The first thing you need to do is relaxing. Your any reaction is NORMAL, but to alleviate the process of recovery for the survivor, and the process of communication with them, read the guidelines for people like you. You are not alone. You need help and support.
